No, we won't be taking Dvorak on, with Lundestrom, Groulx, Gaucher and Mysak (remember him?) ahead of him needing playing time.

I think that if we don't win the Celebrini sweepstakes, next on our draft board is Artyom Levshunov. Chicago will almost certainly take Lindstrom if they go second, to play with Bedard eventually.

lol MTL fan doing MTL favors, big fat no to Dvorak

Helleson is nowhere near a 1RD, I personally doubt he makes the ducks at all next year. Drop him to the AHL and shift Fowler to the right side so Lacombe has a spot

Speaking of, you forgot to sign Lacombe

Zegras has never played RW, and also I doubt Lindstrom is ready to leap to the NHL right away, let alone on the top line.

Ducks for sure re-sign Leason who will play over McGinn

I put my money in Levshunov, but Lindstrom is totally a Verbeek guy as well

Good signing in a vet RD though. I’d add in a high end RW as well (Stammer is the dream)

Completely forgot to resign UFA and RFAS here. Wouldn’t trade for Dvo knowing there was Lunderstrom and Leason. However a 4th for Dvo would be fair, he could easily bounce back and fetch way more at the deadline. For a late pick like that he could be very helpful. And Hughes wouldn’t move him for a pick late than that. We all know this. I actually do believe ANA is going to end up with Levshunov. And SJ with Celebrini.

Makes sense!

What do you mean when you say bounce back? He’s never scored 20 goals or 40 points in his career, and his prime is very likely not in front of him at this point. Even if he trends to his best season for 35ish points, what do you think that pulls in at the deadline? Mt guess would’ve been a 3rd at best, and that’s with retention

I’m more doubtful on the Celebrini part. Whoever lands him is such a crapshoot. Even SJ will only have 1 in 4 odds. I like the lottery draft for that. I’m randomly getting a CBJ gut feeling

You must be a Habs fan, no reason for them to take on DVO with the young guys they have contending for bottom 6 spots.

I also think this is a dumb post, but if you think Jan Mysak is an NHLer you're bound for disappointment. His game hasn't progressed whatsoever since he went pro.
