I doubt it, it was just his first pro season this year, would be awful quick to give up on someone.

why is wright a bust? His numbers in the AHL this year were good for a 19/20 yr old and maybe they arent on the level of a 4th overall pick but he is very good defensively and still a good player. Even if his numbers were awful teams don't normally trade top 10 picks until they turn like 24 years old. If the Kraken were to look to trade Wright at this moment he would probably be worth a early to mid 1st round pick

Can we agree at least that its a good thing he didnt go top3 in the draft?
Cooley, Nemec and Slafkovsky are showing much more promise albeit at this very early stage.

Hes 20 first pro year in the ahl, he's not a bust he's just on a different development path. Let's see how he is in the NHL next season.
