Description

This is a simulated result of what trades/signings were made in our GHL GM League for a simulated off-season.

GM's were tasked with the job of getting their team ready for the season. They had to stay within the salary cap restrictions and must have a maximum of 6 players on the Taxi Squad for injury relief purposes.

Your job is to comment and evaluate how the GM managed their team.

Questions to answer:
1. What was the best move made by the GM?
2. What was the worst move made by the GM?
3. Did the GM improve the team or make them worse?

best move- signing Q long term, adding energy/room guy Pezzetta
worst move- resigning Kaliyev to play 3rd line role (not a good fit)
worst non-move- not upgrading G
overall- I wouldn't say they really went up or down. Could see a little bump because I think Clarke will be productive in the show, but coming back with the same tandem in net and still relying on an abysmal Dubois contract won't be enough to get them over the hump of the elite west teams

Best Move - Signing Byfield to a contract where he should fire his agent if he even considers it

Worst Move - Giving the Byfield Savings to Spence

Worst non move - Assume you could get a better LW than Kaliyev
