Only way I’m okay with that oilers trade is if they retain half on Campbell and change the 2nd to a 1st.

Edmonton is the one who turns down this trade. They will just buy out Campbell this offseason. The buyout is less then retaining half, there is no way they would ever retain on Campbell.

Holland is a moron but i dont think hes that dumb. Not only is that a $15m check someone is not going to be happy to write, but $1,666,666 in dead cap untill 2030 is the last thing the oilers need. The worst of it would be right when Bouch & Leon need extended too.

Rakell is def better than this season but he doesnt fit anywhere in the lineup. Pens need to run a 2-1-2 or 1-2-2 where the wings take the forechecking burden off the aging Crosby and Malkin and Rakell's game is not that

He hasn't scored 30 since 2017-18. He probably wont ever score that many again. With the cap going up 4-5 million each year that 1.7million in buyout money isnt that bad.
