Sabres SHOULD be too, such a nice young group coming, tending starting to get there legs under them, blueline is envy of a lot of teams, forward group could use that elite 1c without losing any of the key cogs. But plenty of cap, and picks to go any sort of direction they want. Mighty frustrating I bet though

Ducks have a cup, one cup by my jets and I would accept and not complain about hockey purgatory/hell for life. Trade remotely competitive for one cup. Not sure our fan base even thinks it’s possible

Arizona must have some pictures or something on bettman though, rather legit blackmail material anyway.

Ah fair enough, I’m trying to stay out of that troll category for my jets. Just so want that cup to reference for the next 20 years after, then possibly do it again, maybe one don’t want to get greedy lol.

Still think we need to get a little more like a junior team, and attempt to pick our windows. Trade into 3/4 draft years, do everything we can for 5/7 years, and do it all again. Try to max out for 2/3 runs, and then sell to draft the next nucleus. Could get ugly if squad gets too old, or too mediocre/mid, and no ufas coming to save the day. But is what it is, lots of depth, legit tender and hopefully we score enough to keep playing.

Can’t trade Skinner anywhere. He has a full no movement clause, try anything and he can just tell you to go **** yourself. He may not be a $9 million player, but burning assets and retaining money just to get rid of him will never be worth what you lose anyway. Might as well hang onto him.

I could see a no go to Arizona, Buffalo to California might be a different answer, with the assets accumulation and elcs ready to crack Buffalo, there actually could be a place here for a sell off a pick, 3 year elc along with the 27 million to convince the right team to try it out. Not sure the ufa market, makes it make sense though, with Reinhardt allready have been there, he’s probably not coming back. Buffalo has to figure out if 1c/2c is in house or if it’s a buy top c on the market to knock everyone else down one. Tending turning the corner, blueline the envy of the league going forward, just the right c and or winger to put this squad over the top would be something.

I'm not a troll. I'm sick of losing and blame ownership. I've made hundreds of real AGMs.

We havent made the playoffs since 2010-11

I never called you a troll, just a little self reflection, Buffalo grabbed a few Winnipeg ice guys, the junior franchise has moved on, but still pull for the young fellows, and for that matter the Sabres, possibly my east team. Or maybe I’m just a sucker for punishment and underdogs. Hopefully the right adds are there and the kids come quick for next year. They should make it easier for me and grab the younger geekie from Arizona, so all the old ice are on the same team. Good luck with the pegulas

Sports were created for Fans, unfortunately the Business side and players forgot that.
And obviously some Fans to. It is a Fans right to articulate anything they feel on there Team. Kinda what Sports is all about! You sound like a Stuck Up Prick who forgot that.

Nope, just someone who hates crybabies & realizes the whining doesn’t change a damn thing

Sports was absolutely not “created for the fans”
It was created based out of humans needs to compete with each other for the self satisfaction of being better than their neighbors at a particular skill, event, etc

That ppl get together to cheer this on 100% came SECONDARY

The Roman Coliseum was NOT built BEFORE gladiator sports were invented, it was build AFTER the games started attracting big crowds

Football, hockey, baseball, etc etc all started with very little fanfare involved & grew to what it’s become today
And it didn’t grow for ANY other reason other than it was entertaining to the masses & a distraction from daily lives that a few realized they could make $$$ off of it

The growth of sports is 100% always been about business /
    the $$$

Your entitled nonsense about what you think you’re owed has never had a damn thing to do with it AT ALL
