They’d be idiotic not to. A pair of middle round 1sts, the first coming in a weak draft, and a bunch of meh.

The value honestly might not be far off, but based on "Bunch of meh" you clearly don't know **** all about the players added lol.

Regardless, we ain't trading that package for a center after just having drafted Kasper and Danielson. Thanks.

JB and Veleno are 3rd liners on good teams. JB has more potential of the two but Wings front office has made him available multiple times. Augustine has some potential in net. I’d probably want one of the pieces removed if i’m Detroit. But I jump at grabbing an already established #1C that young for that little regardless of who they drafted.

Beniers is not an "Already established #1C" lol. Yeah, I expect him to become that, but he's in a sophomore slump from his rookie year, where he posted a whopping 57 points.

It's a 10-15 pick, another 1st, an RFA middle 6 winger, RFA depth center, and a Top 10 goalie prospect for a young Top 6 center who probably becomes a #1C... For a team that already has a #1C and probably two Top 6 centers behind him.

Detroit would be better served trading part of that package for a young RHD to fill that massive hole behind Seider.

OR, if OP is really hell bent on having his new favorite toy in Beniers, drop Augustine and one of the firsts, and add Kasper or Danielson. (And Seattle doesn't do that)

It’s mid round 1st in a weak draft, the most valuable asset in the deal.
A pair of bottom half of the roster forwards.
A decent/good goalie prospect. Not a top 10. Lol.
Another 1st.

Seattle laughs at this honestly.

It may not suit Detroit's immediate needs, but they win this trade…by a lot.

Not one of the comments has mentioned Wright. Not sure what you are referring to.

Today I learned Beniers has already established himself as a #1C and Augustine isn't a Top 10 goalie prospect. tears of joy

Beniers is playing #1C for an NHL team. I can’t find a goalie prospect rankings list that has him in top 10. The last one I looked at listed 25. He wasn’t on it. Gtanted that was a pre-season list and things have changed since then. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Guess it depends how you define a prospect. One that has not signed a pro contract? Ok, probably then. Guys who have not played an NHL game yet. No, not top 10.

You do you.

Not in response to you, to OP who had Shane Wright worth 2 first round picks. Didn't reply to your comment anyway.

I’d trade 2 late 1sts for Wright in heartbeat. Most any GM would, headache that comes with him and all.

I can’t access athletic articles. 🤷🏻‍♂️

From the 💩 i have managed to see from Twiitter discussions, they are generally garbage anyway.

One third of your post was explaining why you can't see them.

Two thirds was ****ing about the validity.

Now tell me more about your much more credible preseason list, which doesn't account for Augustine backstopping the US to WJC Gold, and MSU to a Big 10 Championship.

Evidently you didn't catch the sarcasm... I didn't give a **** about who did your list. We're over 3/4s of the way through every season and you're citing pre-season lists where he hasn't played a single game since being drafted. tears of joy

Before posting, I assume you're asking just so you can nit-pick and **** when you see one thing you don't like to discredit it?

Because you've already taken enough of an L here, between "Beniers is an established #1C", and this. tears of joy
