Description

Lindholm and Zadorov realize the grass wasn't greener on the other side and return. Markstrom and Mangiapane to be moved elsewhere freeing up plenty of cap space.

Bringing back guys who never don't make the playoffs doesn't seem to be solution.
Not getting much for Mango as his contract isn't worth of his play. Even 6m Markstrom is kinda meh.

Lindholm at 6 mil AAV would be a bargain he probably gets more than that elsewhere anyhow. Zadorov's physicality is missed, he's a really good 3rd pair and decent on the 2nd pair too. It's always nice to have a guy like that.

A down year after returning from shoulder surgery is normal. Mangiapane missed training camp and the start of the season too yet he's still on pace for 45 points over a full 82 games. With retention he'd fetch a pretty good return.

Both Lindholm and Zadorov get more on the open market, No freaking way are either signing that cheaply in Calgary. Lindholm already turned down $9,000,000 to remain there. shakes head
