I am a little confused on why Snuggerud has been moved back to a mid/late first.

Not a Habs fans, but I would think that most of them would probably agree with me and say that Slaf should still be first and Hutson is probably a little to high on this list.

You just pulled a random list out of your @ss or what lmao this is so random

Doesnt Slaf have like 26 points in his last 30? But oh right lets put a guy who has 0 nhl games infront, makes sense...

Lane Hutson goes within a few spots of Casey. They are very similar level of prospects.

Casey a better skater, defender, 5v5 guy, more physical, bigger.

Hutson is much better on the power play tho

Wright has more NHL games than Lekkermaki. I guess he is way better!!!

Aight bro there are like 5 NHLers here and I guarantee you at least one of them will have a worse career than a guy yet to play in the NHL. They are all 19/20 years old, so putting guys yet to make the NHL is fair.

Barrett Hayton played the second half of last season near a PPG and look at him now. I love Laf and don't think he is gonna fall off, but I'm not gonna let 30 games deter me away from him. I had him top 10 before his draft year and had him #2 at the draft, I love him. But the 4 guys ahead of him have higher ceilings IMO. No need to be a jerk lmfao this is all subjective anyways. This is all hard work put in for over 100 prospects and what have you done? Exactly.

eh. Ive always been much higher on Hutson than Casey and the WJC showed it IMO. Casey struggled a lot and Hutson shined, and I hate to use such small sample sizes but I don't see Casey ever being more than a good 2nd pair (still very good) and Hutson has top pair and PP quarterback upside.

Snuggerud moved up...?

3-5 are literally 3A 3B and 3C so that's fine, and I've loved Hutson for a while so maybe, but I see him entering the NHL and dominating. Maybe move down to 8 or 9 (behind Korchinksi maybe) but I see Hutson having higher upside than all of the guys below him.

Casey battled though an illness during the tournament (the only time the US came close to losing was their game without Casey btw), and Hutson didn't play particularly better than Casey. Lane in fact played awful defensively, especially defending the rush and preventing teams from breaking in.

In terms of translatability to the NHL, Hutson imo has bigger concerns.

Being smaller, less physical, a worse skater, and just having much bigger flaws in his defensive game makes him a much more concerning transition to defending at the NHL level.

Yeah I know you moved him up 3 spots, but I think the fairly general consensus for the past year is that Snuggerud is around 10-12 in a redraft.

Thats fair. I could see him jump to 14 ahead of Kasper but that's really it. Hes still amazing, I just think these other guys are gonna be studs too
