Only D the leafs should be interested in from STL is parayko, but this is a fascinating proposal. Is STL interested in moving on from Toropchenko by any chance?

I very much doubt hes on the table but If theres a good enough offer im sure Stl would trade him, hes not untouchable by any means

Toropchenko would work well with JT imo

Don’t see why the Leafs would move an expiring Tavares for two pretty bad contracts with term. Tavares likely doesn’t waive anyways

If Schenn and Faulk didn’t have as much term as they did I could maybe see it working (without factoring in all three having to waive)

Is pretty interesting. Toronto gets better on defense and adds some physicality. Blues get a true center to play 2C and cut some term off their cap commitments.

I don’t really watch Toronto enough to know what Tavares is at this point in time, but I could definitely see a he reasoning here for both sides. Definitely some reasons both sides would have issues with it as well

The conversation between JT and Brad Treliving goes something like this.
GMBT: John got a trade for you I really want to do.
JT: GO F**"YOURSELF

Faulk and Tavares decline.

And I can pretty much guarantee you that Matt Roy gets more than 4 x $5,000,000 Yzerman probably give the hometown boy at least 4 x $5,500,000 to play 2nd pairing RHD until Axel Sandin-Pellikka is ready.
