That’s an awful return for Hronek. Canucks pass easily

Has Hronek priced himself out of Vancouver, or what's going on there? I thought the whole point of the Detroit trade was to get one of the Canucks RD for the long-term future

There’s some rumours that he wants 8M+ and also rumours the Canucks don’t want to give him close to what Hughes is getting. Ultimately I think he’ll end up signing an extension for somewhere between 7-7.5M

did that number not come out when he was near point per game pace? iirc he has like 10 points in his last 35

It’s still been reported as his asking price recently, although there hasn’t been any new reports really over the last couple weeks apart from the Canucks reportedly offering something between 6.25-6.75M and Hronek rejecting it

I'd think NSH would at least consider it. I wouldn't be opposed to Hronek in Nashville as I think he would do well with Josi in the same way he has done well with Hughes, its just a matter on contract situation on NSH's end, but I would think VAN would want more after the season he has had, but if he has priced himself out of VAN, then some return is better than none.
