I really like Pesce, I hope he stays in Carolina - that is a lot of money to give him.

Have to overcome California taxes and pay a premium for a short term deal. Could tack on a year and drop it to 7 AAV but want to keep it at 4 years.

I like how Lindstrom has played but I think it’s still take Kovacevic over him

Trouba : 6’3 209 wink — Get those numbers up a tad from Pesce

Ah yes, Kovacevic will get waived cuz there is 7 D in front of him. It’s almost like a team can’t keep 8 D

Scoring goals hopefully. He was being tried out at forward in San Diego this year. I know he's feisty, but he just doesn't have the mass to be an effective defenseman at the NHL level I think

He’s very short for an NHLer in general, let alone a Dman. But Zellweger is actually pretty thick. Makar is 5’11 187, Fox 5’11 183. At 20, Zell is 5’9 174. To be 2” shorter and only 9-13lbs lighter than these guys at 20 years old is solid.

I don’t think he ever reaches 200lbs, but give him a few years and I’ll bet he’s hovering just shy of 190. At 5’9 that’s some solid strength that these other guys have proved is enough to be a Norris winner if you know how to use it
