He’s been a .80 PPG guy since he got here, and that factors the post-trade bump and this year from hell. At $8.7M on a short term, not that bad a contract.

Problem is, CBJ aren’t going to trade him at his lowest value, if they do at all. Particularly if they retain, I could see a stupid overpay for him at TDL if he rebounds.

Especially in Montreal. Too many cases of it not working out there but other places like w/a Drouin. Both have their mental health issues. Montreal fishbowl wont help.
