I'd take that if I was Tampa, and knowing Tampa they'll turn Berggren into a 30 goal guy

How has Berggren been? He seems like he's having a good year in the system no?
I don't know if TB would want to move a 6'5 right shot defensive prospect after losing Thompson at the deadline for a left shot forward that doesn't really have a place in the NHL lineup

He’s been productive when used he just doesn’t seem to have a spot. LeLonde has his guys he likes and Berg just isn’t one of them, this would just be a change of scenery situation

Basically if Bergy doesn't score a goal when first called up playing on the 4th line it's determined he's not NHL ready.

But Czarnik can give the puck away, lose multiple board battles and never come close to scoring and be called a great team guy.

Over ripen. Not ready yet. Needs another year in Grand Rapids. Something something...

It's the Red Wings (Holland) Way.

All Red Wings prospects must be future 50 goal scorers, Norris trophy winning defensemen or Vezina winners.

Plan B?

Just sign as many UFA's as possible.

I don't think CGY needs anymore 3rd pairing D. We'll probably look for a top 4 stay at home D, one that preferably plays on the left side.

Should've been in the NHL all year, essentially.

Probably gonna be a 40-50 point small winger who passes well.
