Why does Marner get all the hate that he does. This year was considered a down year for him yet if he played all 82 games he is tracking 100 points. Marner is definitely worth more than that. Last year and two years ago 99 points and 97 points. This proves Marner is capable of 90+ every year. Goals 20 in 55 games, 35 in 72, then 30, in 25 in 65 so he is also a perennial 30 goal scorer in a league where even when goals are up only 50 players or 1-2 per team will reach 30 goals in a season. This is applied to a player all consider a pass first player who can't score.

I don't think the Leafs would have to add a 1st and a 2nd and a top prospect, but the Caps wouldn't mind nonetheless...
