Honestly, final is a toss up. Being a Vegas fan, I picked Vegas, but it could go both ways. I wouldn't be surprised if Florida won. Have the depth and Goaltender can catch fire in playoffs

I believe that Vegas will get upset in the first or second round this year

If they end up drawing Dallas, its over pack it up in the first round

I'm worried if we have to play Dallas in the first round, because Dallas is really good, but if we can get past them, I think we'll be fine, especially since we do good in playoffs.

"since we do good in playoffs," is an outrageous sentence.

Canucks would beat Nashville

Also Colorado would play Vegas in round 2 in this scenario while LA would play Nashville

Yes... I have, that's why I said Florida's more dangerous....

Also, since when did the RS mean anything come playoffs?

for individual matchups? uhhh since forever.

The reason overall records and point totals seem to not matter all that much is it really doesn't matter what teams do against the bottom dwellers. But the bruins going 4-0-0 against Florida allowing only 8 goals against over that stretch? ya, that tells you something. 1-1-2 against tampa giving up 13 goals against over four...that means something too. But heck, I was hoping the bruins would tank a bit so they could take on toronto. 4-0-0 with seven goals against makes me pretty confident.

Toronto owned Boston in 17-18, lost in 7

The Bruins were the best team in the NHL last year, lost in 7

Tampa in 19-20, lost in 4

Montreal, Florida... It all get thrown out the window once playoffs hits

But that means you've learned nothing from last year

I'm saying you are using the RS as an indicator on who would be harder to beat between FLO and TBL but ignoring Florida being a better team in the playoffs and overall...

Meaning you've not only forgot about last year's Bruins team... But also forgot who beat out that same team

the stock is as follows: I think the bruins have a better chance against Florida than Tampa. I've formed an opinion based on real world evidence. you're right, that's bonkers.

Based on last year's playoffs? How'd that go for Boston?

Because the only ground you have is that you think Boston will either be 1rst round exits or go all the way...

No, I'm not... I'm just incredibly dumbfounded that you would be disrespecting Florida like this... Or you have short term memory loss...

Or you're trolling me or you've been a B's fan for just under a year

it's almost like i've watched the games, have a sense of how the teams match up, and which direction the teams are trending in when forming an opinion.

you can feel free to just look at the standings page. you provide no value to this conversation. carry on.

Or the Stanley cup finals last year, or Game 5,6 and 7 of the 1rst round?

Or just look at the rosters and notice how well Boston matches up vs Tampa compared to Florida

Well, you ignored the past 2 years playoff results for the Kings and who beat out that same team in another thread about a potential Edmonton - Los Angeles series.

You can't have it both ways - either recent playoff results mean something or they don't.
