Injury prone Dmen that is a 7/8/9 no thanks and that contract of his IS HORRIBLE that term is a YIKES , Rather them use that same capspace on Brendon Dillon who is a TRUE vet and is a thumper on the back end and is not that injury prone. Why do we love young player on NJ but never anyone 28-30+, you know true vets.

where is the value for OTT, i see a bottom pair D and an average goalie at best the rest is magic beans for a team who wants to compete.

Noah Ostlund is an great prospect and an first and second rounder. I think it's pretty fair value

they already have undersized players and they want to compete, i think it would need to more of a hockey trade.

Value-wise probably not that far off on Georgiev but this would have to be under the assumption the Avs have signed someone to replace him. Still don't see that happening though.

Haha no. If it’s not Quinn, Peterka or Benson there isn’t a deal to be done

Not really . I’d def want to get younger and build around a younger core but Ostlund won’t slot in to replace Tkachuk . A middle 6 centre is not what we need to replace our high end top line player

1- Are u guys actually gonna trade him ?

2- if u do, the specifics of the return will probably not be exactly what u expect- it never is….

So they replace their 1LW with a future middle 6 centre? When they have Pinto and Greig to cover those spots. I don’t get the fit.

Like if they move Brady they need someone who immediately slots into the top 6

Nope we aren’t trading him but if we are , it’ll be an insane return. It’s Brady Tkachuk and his style of play is a GM’s dream.

Quinn + 2024 1st + 2nd probably is close

Ottawa has no obligation to trade Brady so it would have to be a haul. Hard to believe they would restart their rebuild so likely would involve a player coming back that fits their window and could play top6.

No it would be someone same age as Sanderson/Stutzle/Greig/Pinto to build around like Jack Quinn for example

We aren’t moving Quinn…. or Peterka…. or Benson….

Also, u aren’t making sense
In one post, u DEMAND u get back a young Center prospect
In another, u turn down the Center & demand a winger
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I couldn’t make this stuff up if u wanted to !

And the Sens aren’t trading Brady so that makes it even.

You’re not making 8 players untouchable to get Brady that’s insanity .

I said I don’t want Ostlund he doesn’t fit here and his ceiling isn’t high enough to replace Brady in the top 6. Him and Pinto play the same role and Pinto has more size and is more proven

Yeah, i know what you said
You’re REPEATEDLY contradicting yourself
And it’s LAUGHABLE

You’re not gonna get exactly what u want for Tkachuk
Again, these trades just don’t ever work out like u think they will
Sorry your Star play (supposedly) isn’t happy
Not my fault though

We’d never trade him to a division rival. He can be traded to any team and there will be a ton of better offers than Ostlund as a centerpiece lol. Brady has term but the Sens can keep him.

That offer doesn’t come close to getting it done .

Brady is worth a lot more than Debrincat was traded for

All he’s saying is that if you aren’t going to trade any of your top prospects (or young players) a deal isn’t going to be made. I don’t see the issue in that? Without something of substance coming back you aren’t going to see a trade.

Thinking Ostlund isn’t “something of substance” is just plain dumb though
He is- IN FACT- one of our “top prospects”

He isn’t something of substance. Imagine trading your Star captain and getting back magic beans and maybe a top6 centre. Staios would be up on billboards in Ottawa lol. Bottom line is there’s better offers out there and this doesn’t fit Ottawa’s needs I’m not sure why you’re so stuck on it.

I’m not STUCK on anything
I don’t think this trade happens- I NEVER SAID IT WOULD

But I’m sorry, u guys just sound dumb when u don’t realize what a good prospect Ostlund is
If I’m stuck on anything, it might just be the ignorance & the incorrect assumptions u guys are continuing to follow through with
Saying “he isn’t something of substance” is just stupid & shows you really just don’t much about him

Yep way she goes! Should listen to you 13 straight years of no playoff experience you would know a thing or 2 about prospects 😂. Have a great day little bud!!
