Stephenson is getting like 6x6 on the open market at least

If Stephenson signs for 4x4m, then he'd better never have to buy another meal or drink in that town for the rest of his life.

He only has 47 points this year. Last year’s playoffs was fantastic but they pay you for what you will do not what you have done.

Centers are always in very high demand and the cap is going up. If Boston misses out on Lindholm they will fork a truckload out for Stephenson

My guess is Boston is going to sign Lindholm or pursue a wing considering how Zacha has been playing at center.

That said, I do think Vegas is going to have to get in the $5.25M to $5.5M range to keep a forward. They have enough attractive defenseman to get this done if they want to.

My impression was Hertl was required to replace Stephenson long term

I think they keep Marchy and let Stephenson walk. They may move Roy or Whitecloud to make cap work but I doubt they do anything drastic

CS is a decent 2C. Otherwise a very good 3C. Not worth $6 m x 6. IMO.
