Description
Georgiev has regressed and yes the defense has been shot at times but he's been worse then kuemper on there cup run. So he gets traded.

Wood gets traded due to cap casualty. Production doesn't match his cap.

I'm trading manson for numerous reasons. They can find another manson in free agency.
1 cause of his age and his cap.
2 girard is younger.

People say trade colton but he's been perfect 3C.

Jack Johnson retires along side parise and cogliano.
Olofsson goes back Europe.

Feel like the Flyers would only add a defenseman if they were moving another one out. Seems like they have this pretty set for next year for now (though I'm sure they wouldn't mind an upgrade on the left side):

Manson doesn't really fit the Flyers timeline, regardless of standings they are still rebuilding. I highly doubt they are moving a second + for a 32 year old whos gonna be a 35 year old UFA when they are hoping to start actually competing.

They were playing good hockey but for whatever reason the wheels have fallen off

The reason the wheels fell off is because the team is actually a bottom 10 team on ice talent wise. Any Flyer fan who got excited over playoff ambitions because Torts got a little more out of less is a fool, it was going to crash eventually. Honestly the overachieving hurt them far more than helped long term.

Blankenburg doesn't get nearly enough credit for how well he does. Trading him ought to be a nonstarter.
