Keller alone does not get Jokiharju, Rosén, 2024 1st round pick (BUF), and 2025 2nd round pick (BUF). Do better.

Keller is a first line player and by far Arizona’s best player. and has term. He returns something similar to what Jack Eichel returned ( keep in mind, Eichel was hurt, otherwise, he would have got more)

The return would probably be a first, a top prospect, and. Second top prospect or going roster player.

It will cost you a first, and probably both Kulich and Rosen.

That’s more than any team should pay for him. And that’s keeping in mind He has a relatively team friendly contract. You could argue that Keller is a top line forward on just about any team that tries to trade for him, but a basically top 10 first round pick, a top 20 prospect in the league, and a young productive right handed defender with team control should get you any second line player in his mid 20s that you want. If not Keller, that should be Crouse, right?

It’s More than what they should pay, but, it’s also what it would take to pry him lose. Utah won’t give him away for cheap, and they don’t want to, and if he’s available, there will be plenty of suitors.

It is rather unlikely he gets traded unless he actually asks to leave. Maybe instead of a big splash trade like that one the Sabres do something a little bit smaller to bring in a second line player who fits their needs and only cost maybe half this many assets. For that matter, if they bring in another top six forward, that means less ice time for some of the younger players that they probably want to see produce more.
