I think you did a great job going outside the box. I would hope that if we take on Filppula that we wouldn't have to send over 2nd rounders. Also, I'd flip Filppula and Anisimov. Understood VF has a better F/O%, but he's simply not a solid 2nd liner anymore. Would hate to break up chemistry just for F/O%. He would get a solid 3rd centerman option like Vermette.

Filppula is a Hawk killer, would love to have him. I agree that putting him on 3rd line with Schmaltz and Hartman would be better. AA is going to have to improve FO%. Nice job.

No way Hawks want to take on Filppula's contract.....also zero chance the Hawks trade Tootoo, he's a locker room guy that brings more being the 13th or 14th forward on the team than being traded
