14th OA Carter Yakemchuk RD
33rd OA Dean Letourneau RHC

36th OA Gabriel D’Aigle G

While sharks will be coming off another bad season! they will have a ridiculously large amount of cap space, and with this kind of prospect pool/ young MHL core, one would have to think players would begin to be interested in their potential.
Saros would gives the Sharks their first legit top tier G since Nabokov and gives their 2 new prospects time to develop, but he won’t come cheap, same with Boeser but he adds to the sharks young top 6.
And yes sharks still have a good ammount of cap space to go after another FA or two but with a lot of good prospects still waiting in the wings and some large pay raises on the horizon sharks opt to play this smart and not risk future cap issues. Plus until the fans start coming back sharks need to save some money!

Not sure but if all goes well sharks should be close to fighting for a playoff spot.

Loosing our on Stutzle set the rebuild back two years. It's going to be 2027 or 2028 before the sharks start sniffing the playoffs again.

It's a 6-8 year slog, and it's going to be on the long end for San Jose.

Nice that you brought back Granlund. It would be great to trade him at the 2025 TDL then re-sign him as a free agent.

Montour, Boeser, and Saros may be out of reach.

To be fair this is 2026 so it’s not that far fetched if prospects develop quickly with some FA splashes, I think this is prob reaching

I still said this is 25/26 and not quite a playoff team unless everything goes right! Think 26/27 is the year I would “expect” them to be fighting for the playoffs.

6-8 years from 2020 when DW screwed this team's future and Grier has been fixing that mess since. So that's 2-5 years from now which is a timeline I can agree with. I'm not sure if that's what you meant or if you meant 6-8 years from now, which i very much disagree with.

it depends on who get's Celebrini, but gods willing the Sharks get him, I think SJS and CHI are on a similar timeline and ANA may be one year ahead, although having a one point increase from last season should be very worrisome for them with all the talent that came in this season
