That's not quite right. There's no guarantee he wins a Cup in Detroit but he does still have team records to smash in Chicago. Plus his in-laws are there and the house he just bought. Not saying it happens but I'd put the odds just north of 50%.

I never said he'd win a cup in Detroit, I said he'd stay in Detroit long before going to a Hawks team that has zero chance of making the playoffs in his career. Detroit is a lot closer to making the playoffs then the Hawks are. And the LAK proved that once you get into the playoffs anything can happen.

This is the first one of these I posted. I didn't know they wouldn't include the AHL/Junior signed players. Nazar starts the year in Rockford. I have the Hawks selecting Levshunov.
