1- MTL have no reason to include Lekhonen for Dvorak, 2 similar young player.

2- Ekman-Larsson could be a good replacement for Markov, but Petry have NMC = 15 team no-trade list. I don't know why he could accept to go at ARI.
Just signing Markov is an easier way.

3- Habs need ofense, so, trade Byron for Petrovic is a wrong way.

4- Why trade Schlemko for 5th round pick, when MTL just take him from Vegas for a 5th round pick?

There is no way that Arizona would trade Ekman-Larson and Dvorik for the collection of players being proposed by the this Montreal fan Arm-Chair GM. It makes no sense and is more of a dream trade.

Does anyone else think this is a fair trade for Arizona?

You're offering:
3rd line LW
Bottom pairing, declining D man
A C rated prospect (3rd liner at best)
A career back-up goalie
Pick 20 and 55 in the draft

For:
An elite #1, young d-man
a top 6 forward
pick 70 in the draft
A C rated prospect

No where close, even if you wanted just OEL Arizona isn't going to take your scraps.

That Schlemko trade was bad, basically just cancelling it out and after the ARI trade we needed a R-Defenseman.

Artturi Lehkonen is a future elite 2nd liner and Jeff Petry is a very underrated player that is a good # 3 defenseman. I just switched Lindgren for McNiven, a future #1 goalie.
