Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I think Durzi could be an awesome pick-up for Boston he’s a great transitional dman, he has a good shot and would increase our offence from the defence production. He’s not to bad defensively aswell. His neutral zone defence is actually solid he’s strong at deny chances into the dzone.

Utah, who doesn't have a single defenseman signed next year, is giong to trade you one of their few RFA defensemen?
No, they aren't. This isn't even close to reasonable on their part.

I’d rather keep draft capital and sign a free agent. Plus, the last thing the Yetis need is more draft capital. I see them making splashes in the trade market using capital

There has been rumours about players not wanting to live in Utah I could imagine most those players are younger guys who would like to be in a bigger city.

Durzi may be an RFA but he could make things difficult with a contract extension if he doesn’t want to live there.

Owners have already made it clear they are going to spend in UFA and there’s still gonna be some solid dmen available like Skjei/ Pesce/ Roy/ Demelo/ montour they could throw an offer at

Definitely a possibility but like I said how would you feel being a young bachelor who was living in a nice warm Arizona with much more “opportunities” and now you are living in a much colder state and a state that is quite religious, SLC doesn’t seem like much of a city that has events to entertain its youth . It happened in the NBA with young star Donovan Mitchell and the UTAH jazz, he was very vocal about having many issues with Utah

Too much for Ullmark. Take the 1st and thats all your getting plus is NJ on Ullmarks no trade list? he didnt waive for LA what makes you think he'll waive for NJ.

An extension he’s made it very clear his next team will be his long term home, that’s why he didn’t waive for LA he didn’t want to move west for a season and a bit

My guess is NJ isn’t on his No Trade List.

If a second is all that’s offered, it’s a pretty easy decision to keep him and go with the goaltending situation that has been a primary reason they have the best record in the NHL over the past two years.

Seeing the level of goalie play this year in both the playoffs and the regular season, I am comfortable Ullmark should be wanted. There aren’t many proven guys out there unless teams pay up.

"rumors" aka what someone on capfriendly said. mean all of F all.
It's not like the urban sprawl in AZ is some great city.
Nor is it like these guys live there year round. They don't. Season ends and they leave.
