Why is skinner waiving to go as far away from home as possible?

If it happens its a buyout or we retain some salary, and then pay a team assets to buy him out. we become partially responsible for the buyout instead of fully. Really no reason to do it to take vlasic's 7 mil back for 2 more years.

I don’t necessarily think they do. There’s an extra year on skinners deal compared to Vlasics and it’s $2 mil per more. The sharks essentially take on $11 mil while giving up a solid center
