Trades
1.
OTT
  1. Shepard, Hunter
  2. van Riemsdyk, Trevor
  3. 2024 2nd round pick (VGK)
  4. 2025 2nd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
TvR - reliable #4 or #5 d-man, one of those analytical darlings

Shep - Calder Cup Playoff MVP last year, goalie of the year in AHL this year. Not a top prospect by any means but worth a flier given OTT's goalie issues

2nd this year + 2nd next year

Before OTT fans come at me, a legit NHL dman, top tier AHL goalie and two second rounders is a lot for a rental (doesnt seem like Chychrun wants to stay in OTT unfortunately)
2.
CBJ
  1. Suzdalev, Alexander
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (NYI)
  3. 2025 2nd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Suz - potential middle-6 skilled winger prospect

2nd + 3rd

Caps need a legit shooting threat on the wing outside #8. From an outsider perspective, Laine may need a fresh start (know he's going through a lot personally) and injuries have taken their toll over the last two seasons.

Realistically this package isn't enough
3.
WSH
  1. 2025 7th round pick (CGY)
CGY
  1. Kuemper, Darcy
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Assuming CGY finally trades Markstrom and recoups some assets. Know CGY has Vladar and Wolff but Flames were the first team that came to mind (Kuemps is a Western Canadian boy too)

I don't think the Flames would make a move for Kuemper and I doubt he waives to come to Calgary anyway his NTC list is probably all Canadian teams

You're correct; that package isn't enough for Laine.

that dont get chych, OTT declines

Chych has repeatedly said, on several occations during the seasons, HE WANTS TO STAY IN OTT, the reason there is rumours of OTT trading him is because they have 5 LD and to balance out the LD/RD situations.

WSH is a crap position right now, they need to support Ovi but they also need to rebuild because they are finished and has little in high end prospects, do they sacrifice the McMichael, Connor to try and get another cup and help Ovi beat Gretzky record or blow it up and look to trade Ovi at next years deadline.

Agreed - in a very odd position. Ovi isn't going anywhere (from a Business perspective, Ted wouldn't ever let that happen no matter what; nor should he for that matter). I like McMichael as a middle six guy but don't see a high-end ceiling (and that's OK). My hope is that with the amount of cap flexibility this summer (Backy LTIR, potentially Osh as well) that GMBM can get creative. He's racked up a bunch of 2nds and 3rds over next two drafts so let's see what he can do with the wiggle room + hopefully another step for the young guys like Miro, McM, Lappy, Pro, etc. Think Leonard is really our only untouchable prospect (maybe Miro too?) but as you said, we lack an abundance of top tier players in the pipeline. Should be an interesting summer!
