Nylander is NOT the problem.

LOL

Skipping 3 games of the playoffs only to cuss out his team mates calling them whiny floaters, which in fact Willy has alot of experience being himself, was funny.

Marner isn't waiving his NMC... Nylander should, he has no heart or class.

Marner has way less heart than Willy and always cries when things don't go his way. Marner is as close to a disease on the Toronto Maples Leafs as it gets.

Marner and Matthews DO NOT work together anymore. And with the way this team spends its money it will be impossible for them to build a complete roster.

Marner's only problem is he plays the playoffs as if they're equal to the regular season (which they should be called the same) that's a problem on the NHL not Marner.

Marner = 1 goal
Matthews = 1 goal
J.T. = 1 goal
Nylander = missing on a milk carton
Samsonov = average goaltending
Keefe = clueless doofus

Yet Leafs fans/media and trolls only focus on Marner.

Utah has the cap to just go buy guentzel or Reinhart and keep Crouse, only reason to move Crouse is to get rid of his cap hit for larger ufa shopping.

Marner has no heart, you're funny.

He tries harder than any other Leaf player; Matthews floats, Nylander quits and J.T. is always 2 steps behind the play.

Troll post? Migraines are serious issues. In case you never noticed they ruined Nolen Patrick's career.

At least when Nylander plays he shows the drive to win at all costs. Marner on the other hand was actually listed on the starting roster the whole time but still didn't play until the 3rd period of game 4. He's always disappeared come playoff time.

Exactly. Since his deal, for every good game in the playoffs he had had, he's also had 2-3-4 bad ones.

I think it'll take a couple seasons before Utah can attract UFAs, the stink leftover from Arz still taints that team.

Troll comment.

You can't be serious believing Nylander tries to win at all cost.

the fact that you think that Playoffs shouldn't be a tighter, less penalty filled game is the reason why this team hasn't won anything. The playoffs are the playoffs and they will always be like this. If he isn't able to step up and adapt he shouldn't be playing has far undersized and players like him in the past (Marty St. Louis) were able to set up. marner is a good reg season player but the NHL isn't just about the regular season. Both AM34 and willy have shown they can perform he is the only one that hasn't.

Is this why in 2021 while he amassed 8 points including 5 goals in 7 games against the Habs Marner and Matthews just disappeared?

Huh, it's like the other team knows how good he is and focus a game plan to knock him off his game.

That's what a good coach does, too bad the Leafs have a bad coach who can't counter act that.

Nylander is not perfect. No one's saying he is.

The argument here is that Marner has NEVER proven that he's worth anything over 9,5M and he's at almost 11M!!!!!!

Marner went out of his way to have a contract with an AAV as close to Matthews's as possible and then he did what exactly? The best version of Marner was that 18-19 one, and this was BEFORE his contract.

Even if the Leafs got 20% less than his actual value in a trade, they should still do it, the cap space and flexibility would still be worth it.
