Any post that trades a high cap players (in Marner) for a mid cap player (Necas) is kinda meaningless, unless it shows the team that teams on the high cap (Carolina).
To me, it's always a "lazy" post......which has been true for virtually an Marner trade.

Canes probably do Necas and a 1st for Marner, as long as a 3rd team is willing to eat half of Marner’s salary before any extension is signed.
