I can’t see the caps moving dowd for anything less than a second rounder and I’d see them wanting a little more than that given the interest he garnered at the deadline. Granted if you waited until the deadline I’m sure the price goes down because it’s a shorter rental.

I see Norris as a good fit with the kraken though I do agree with your injury take. It’s a high risk high reward

I think I would like chych on whatever unit Pasta is on. Given how strong of a shot he has it could free up some room for pasta.

I’d also be open to mcavoy and chych on one power play and having chych and pasta in your shooter spots. Mcavoy is good at holding the line he’s an underrated skater and is a good passer.

I can’t see bruins taking forsberg back it would have to be 1 for 1 or we add a 3rd maybe. Ottawa would have to find their own way to move forsberg

Fair, I figured since he only has one year left they can take him to be a serviceable backup. Obviously the knee injury isn’t helping him, but the 21-22 season when Ottawa sucked he had a .917%. Could be a nice backup fit

Everyone said the same about chariot and getting a 1st. Dowd is one of the better defensive bottom 6 centers in the league and everyone knows how valuable a guy who can take on 60+% of the defensive zone draws can be.

Guys like sturm/Glendening/ pageau/ cizikas/ Jenner earlier in his career made a living off of it.

From recent playoff experiences I can tell you as a bruins fan that Bergerons hardest match-ups in my opinion have been Pageau/ Jenner/ Staal not Matthews/ Aho/ Barkov like you would think

I’m a fan of the sens and I think ullmark has a lot more value than chyc who has injury history and had a rough season… the thing with Norris isn’t supposed to replace his value, it’s to solidify other needed places because we don’t exactly need 4 good Cs with stutzle pinto and greig

Gs have far less value than the other positions, even norris as is has more value than ullmark.

You don't know what you're talking about. Don't pretend you watched the games, because if you did, you wouldn't be saying this. Blaming the sweep on Nic Dowd is brain dead.

i think from a trade value perspective, the bruins win this one...but, if he costs a penny north of $6M to retain, there's no shot the bruins do it. Hampus Lindholm is worlds better than Chychrun, so really they're looking at him as a partner for Carlo on the second pair, probably around $5.5M-$6M.
