Kings might have 16m in cap space but they need sign 10 players....including the expensive Byfield. Easy no from the Kings.

Sixteen million in cap space? Byfield, two goalies and Jordan Spence will eat up at least 3/4 of that, and then there won't be room for Marner let alone fill out the roster.

No, thanks. We don't subscribe to the "iceberg" theory of building a top-heavy roster by starting from the top down, not to mention that we can't afford to give up one of our two best centers and one of our three RDs under contract for next season.
