Wouldn't trade Kempe 1-for-1. Contract, years left under control, playoff performance, size are all reasons why.

LA doesn't want Marner, unless it's a swap of disappointing players. You guys take Dubois, we'll take Marner.

We'd rather try to re-sign Adrian Kempe than Mitch Marner and use the difference to improve the rest of the team. A 20-man roster and that goaltending tandem are unworkable.

Marner is not the commercial commodity that many of you Toronto fans think he is. There's a reason why so many of you want to see him gone.
