NYI fans won't be happy until NSH takes on every bad contract they have, because they're all allegedly Trotz's favourite player.

Good question regarding Ehlers, when I watch the Jets I think he's one of their best players. Ironically when Connor was injured and Ehlers was on the top line is when the Jets went on their big win streak.

Regarding Pageau, he would take at least a 1st round pick to dump. Bottom 6 player making $5M × 2 years, that is a significant cap dump.

Also regarding Ehlers, rick bowner is a bad coach. Simply put. It's the same played out story of coaches preferring the big guys. Notice how whenever Ehlers gets actual top 6 minutes he's one of their best play drivers?

If he's getting traded, it's because the coach will ruin him.

I just feel bad for Perfetti, dude averaged 13 mins a night this season

Bolduc does nothing for Winnipeg. If Ehlers is traded it will likely be to fill a position of need. Build a deal around Pulock, assuming the unlikely scenario of him actually waiving for Winnipeg.

i just cant believe it. guy has been a stud for years I really dont understand how he still isnt a top guy for winnipeg

as for Perfetti the fact he only saw 1 playoff game after almost scoring 20 in 13mins a night is absolute insanity

It's the same reason Jamie Benn made a comment about finally being able to play offense once Bowner was gone. He's a mid coach who doesn't like small guys. Ehlers is one of their best play drivers and he barely sees the top 6. Winnipeg will continue to go nowhere with him at the helm
