I Know it's a lot for Bennett but... I mean... He's the best player of the trade and he fill a huge need for Mtl. BTW I know that Poirier is a bust but he could maybe jump out in the new farm team in Laval...

your logic is good. hate to make thought for a guy to play in Laval though. that # 1 pick is going to be a top 15 pick though, Imo

Still possible but never bet against MTL defence with Price cool

the reason I said that that the habs had a fast start last year but then faded considerably. non playoffs teams tampa, canes, maybe florida should be better. and the Atlantic division looks a lot tougher now....leafs, sens, bruins and even the sabres if they can avoid injury. habs have lost radulov and so far markov and have just gained Drouin. I don't wish the habs any bad luck, but their roster is loaded with 3rd/4th liners and AHLers.

remove McNiven, he will be worth a lot in a few years.

I disagree with the implications that Poirier is a bust, he had personal issues and that affected his play last year. He has cleaned up his personal life and should be a player who will push for a roster spot or will be a call up early when there are injuries.
