Don’t see Minnesota accepting unless it’s our 2024 1st

Yeah we know that bud that’s when his contract is SUPPOSED to end. But SKA Chairman just did an interview a few days ago where he said they could let him come over as soon as this summer and a decision would be made by the end of June if they are going to let him come early or not for this year

I highly doubt it unless Flyers send a dufflebag of cash to the SKA owner

The chairman of SKA said that they haven't ruled out the possibility of letting him come over early and that a decision will be made by the end of June

If the Wild are to trade Rossi, it's to get better now, not somewhere in the future.

Im slowly getting on the train of not having RFA as main cogs in trades. I will offer sheet the hell of out some of these players ala Holmgren with Shea Weber. Wild days those were...

Probably. Frost is a bigger than Rossi so he'd check that block that Guerin apparently is after but can he play top 6 center? I don't watch many Flyers games so no idea, but if his ceiling is a 3C than he's a bandaid for next season and the appeal would be the draft pick which Colorado's will likely be in the late 20s next year unless they get slammed with the injury bug. Neither seem like they'd help the team in the long run more than Rossi might be able to. Getting pick #12 in this draft could be a chance for the Wild to either add 2 more prospects to their pool or package them to try to move up.

Again, I'm not familiar with the Flyers. Is their prospect pool in a position where they could give up a 1st this draft to bring in a young center still on his ELC?

Frost is definitely a 2C at that point maybe on a top top contender would be a 3C. Flyers need a 1C desperately so if they are trading for one then they wouldn’t need to worry about drafting one

Kudos for thoughtful trades and roster building. I agree that the Minnesota trade seems light and probably doesn't solve the Wild's problems.

Same thoughts on the Lundell trade for Florida. Trading a 22-year old 2C (with more development ahead of him) with 200+ games (and 30+ playoff games) of experience under his belt for a good middle-six winger (assuming Brink hits his high end projection) and picks is just bad business, and I think Florida's preference is to retain Lundell, unless they are blown away by a trade offer). It's really hard to get guys with 1C potential into the building, just ask the Flyers.

I think the TK trade is a bit light of a return for the Flyers, especially if Vegas and TK agree to a reasonable extension in conjunction the trade.
