If Roy's new deal comes in at $6.5m, that's probably too much additional cap for Tampa to absorb for next season.

Cirelli is my favorite player but, take off moore and add Turcotte and a pick and it would make sens for Tampa.

Not a fan of Turcotte. He's not an NHL level player. He's had terrible luck w/ injuries but those injuries have ruined his development path.

Depending on what the value is on Roy's next contract, in theory it works for Tampa. Moore becomes the top 6 add in place of keeping Duclair, Kaliyev shouldn't be very expensive and could do well in the bottom 6, and Roy is the main prize of course. It would all depend on what Tampa extended Roy at, as the trade only works with an extension in place.

I agree but, you have to get a center back. Turcotte is cheap and could possibly amount to something + you never know what a change of scenary can do. He's not a big piece of the trade either.
