I'd like montour. Domi is just another middling guy taking up cap for 4 years. I'd rather just sign perron for a year and chase a bigger fish next off-season.

I don't mind that either. I just love Domi because he brings the same amount of points as Copp and Compher but brings nastiness and grit that they do not, and he is cheaper. It'd be a risk I'm willing to take bc we could move a contract like Chariot. Also Petry and Husso won't re-sign a year from now.

Looks pretty realistic other than maybe the term for Montour and Domi. I could see them prioritizing more term given their ages. For the both of them, it's their last big contract most likely.
Also just so you know, if you want to respond to someone's comment, hit quote and they will be tagged. If you want to respond to multiple people, hit multi quote on each comment you want to respond to and then reply.

I agree. I would rather target Joshua or someone else similar and save some cap. Probably get the same production but better defensive play. I also think he sticks around with the Leafs.

Domi can barely play center and who cares that he's cheaper - we are still paying Copp and Compher. Complete waste of $4.5M

Chiarot has a NMC, he's not going anywhere.

What do you think about the Montour signing? (Let's say we get Joshua).

I have no issues with it but I think he gets more term, likely gets it from a team as well. I'm partial to signing Matt Roy as he's physical and strong defensively. From Michigan which might help our cause in convincing him to sign here. Also I think he will be cheaper, shouldn't cost more than 6M. Either way I'm hoping we can get one of Roy, Pesce, Tanev or Montour. I think any of them would be a good partner for Edvinsson and make our team better.
