Tbh CAR probably wouldn't move Jarvis for Marner 1 for 1. Plus CAR is already in cap hell, this wouldn't help them

The best you MIGHT get from the Canes, taking into consideration of Marner’s NMC and a little thing called the cap, is Necas and a 1st. Leafs blew their chance at Jarvis when they dumped Marleau.

I wouldn't trade Jarvis for Marner straight up. Cap is tight next year and Marner is probably going to demand more than Carolina's willing to give. Leafs had their chance at Jarvis and they dumped Marleau instead.
