There’s no point in giving up on Holtz’s talent for a couple of picks the Devils have zero need for.
Holtz might get traded for an impact player but will most likely get another year to prove himself in NJD’s lineup. He’s a good bet to really breakout without having to play for a coach that actively works against him.

Don't trade our best LHD. We'd regret it instantly. Holtz is great but we need Fehervary.

Yeah thats why I changed it from that. I just want to add scoring and not sure where else to get it from without overpaying for a free agent

Yes NJD should absolutely do that. I’d also add a sweetener.

Fehevary is a perfect target as a defensive LHD with a reasonable cap hit, term, and can handle tough minutes
