A lot of moves that i feel like make a lot of sense for the devils this offseason. To start I think chicago is the type of organization that would be interested in acquiring the rights fo Mcleod and Foote. Chicago loves guys like this and i feel like 2 1st round pick makes sense. Goaltending was an issue this past season so acquiring two Elite goalie is essential. A solid Tandem in Shesterkn and Swayman should work well together. Sometimes goaltending can be inconsistent so hopefully this tandem works out. Used the 2nd overall pick that was acqured in the Mcloed trade and got the first overall pick to draft Celebrini. Felt like Holtz needed a change of seneray so I traded him for the third overall pick and drafted Levshenov. Felt like Makar and Hamilton needed changed of scenary so made a swap however I did make sure Colorado got a first round as well so they can help their rebuild. Signed a few free agents. Some to play in the lineup and some will start the season on the Taxi squad. Praying the team doesn't get hit with the black plague bug that has making its way around locker rooms the last few years. IF we do get hit wth that pesky sickness we should have some guys to fill the spots. Lowballed all the free agents because they know they want to play in Newark New Jersey. They jumped at the opportunity to play in our beautiful city. Made sure to pay top dollar to Hobey Baker award winner Will Butcher. He will be a huge addition to the squad. Also since goalies get injuried or sick with the plague we made sure to sign Marty Broduer out of retirement. Finally we decided to unload some players who are in the AHL and get some picks back in return. This team looks like he could compete for a playoff spot. If we are lucky maybe even win a playoff round.
