Mateychuk, Brindley, and Svozil start in Cleveland.

Dillon signed as the stopgap 2LD until Mateychuk is ready, then becomes the stopgap 3LD until Svozil is ready.

Draft either Silayev or Linsdstrom at 4OA, whoever is available. With this trade, both would be upgrades on some of the longer-term options in-house at their respective positions.

Nothing crazy otherwise. With one move, we sort trough the forward depth and make a major commitment to the future of the team. If the kids continue to develop, this team could push for a wildcard spot.

TDL look to move Kuraly, Danforth, and Bean. Bring up Mateychuk, LDBB, and Pyyhtia.

CBJ sign Marner to an 8x$12M extension. Clears up a logjam of forwards without sacrificing any untouchable pieces/core pieces going forward.

Additional Details:

Toronto gets a haul of NHL players with high upside compared to last year's results. Their depth is significantly improved and KJ should be a Marner-style replacement.

Late in the 2024 summer, contingent on Laine leaving the PAP, KJ recovering from surgery pre-training camp. and Marner waiving for Columbus.

Elvis is also part of this deal under the table, bought out by CBJ and signs with Toronto at $1.5M.

Literally the only thing the leafs want there is johnson.
Provorov stinks out loud and laine's value is so incredibly low even if the jackets retained half. Hardest of noes

Nashville doesn't need a Barrie replacement any more than the Jackets need a Provorov or Bean replacement. Even less so, really. Would have to find a different taker.
