Despite what Tochett says (who has done a great job) I still think Petey is injured. He's not recognizable in these playoffs. He has no speed, no zing on his shot, his puck handling has deserted him. This is not a lack of confidence. I'm guessing he's had this a while. Kind of like when Brock had the wrist injury, but may be a bit worse. Watch Petey in the clip practicing one timers with Gonchar. Check out the last pass Gonchar lobs over to Petey, and Petey's flinch after he hits it (ever so tentatively). Something is not right with this player, but it cant be too bad for the long term because I'm guessing Allvin already knew about it when he signed the contract with him. I'm going to guess either shoulder or back spasms. Its a shame. With a healthy Petey and Demko this team would roll over Edmonton.

I’m very high on him as well. I think he’s already right around a top 10 LHD in the league and should only get better
