Funny, this roster looks so much better then what we have currently. Maybe they should fire Bergevin, he clearly made this team worse.

Used to be the biggest MB fan. Now, can't stand him. He is making rookie GM mistakes and very questionable moves. Which are negating the actual good things he's done.

For distraction and entertainment purposes I've regularly entered into the Armchair GM section of the site to see the different points of views from fans ..... have even submitted in my own thoughts at times.
But this is by far the BEST analysis of where I team is headed.
MB has driven this club to a point where we can not come back (or at least it will take years)...forget about the cup in the next 10 years.
This his inception as GM he has loaded this team with 3rd & 4th line puds and #6 & #7 defencemen - all because of character - but never addressing the true need of this club - OFFENCE.
We had Markov, Radulov ,we had Subban, we had Beaulieu and Sergachev - why on earth would you let these guys out if the return wasn't to address your most pressing need - OFFENCE.
We had Andrigetto, and still have Hudon, Carr, DLR, McCarron and Sherbak but these kids are/were never really given an opportunity.
Instead we load up with the likes Holland, Froese, Martisen who are going to take cap space and roster space away from what we trully need - OFFECE.

Instead, we go in this year (so far) with a heap of 3rd & 4th line puds and #6 & #7 defencemen and find ourselves working backwards from the last 5 years.

This entry paints a perfect picture if GMMB had just stayed the course and made minor tweaks here and there - I would even go so far as to add / revert the Weber - Subban trade to trully show how MB has pointed this team in the wrong direction.
