take Sonny as wild aren't taking on his contract, Also, when it comes to Rossi trade, as good as a 1st round pick sounds, they aren't looking to trade him for a pick and player who's practically the same size with worse stats and less game played. They are looking to get bigger but better player than Rossi

Thats not what analyst are saying lol. Comparable is what was said and the 1st+3rd+a comparable player(who is still very good with tons of upside) should get the deal done. Also Milano has a very good contract (<2 mil) for a middle six winger(something the wild have been looking for) who when healthy puts up 30+ points. Keep in mind, he only played 49 games this year but has 23 points. He was on a 45 point pace before his injury. Btw McMichael is 6ft not 5,9 like Rossi.

You're mortgaging a whole lot for a bunch of guys that aren't good enough for their own cup contending teams!

Michael russo has made it clear it will be for a bigger player. He's also made it clear they aren't looking for a pick and player back for him. Guerin will only move him if they can get a bigger, better player. Nothing else. Milano isn't any good and his cap isn't good for him. Wild have many player's like him and very good young player's they are trying to made room for, so no. Milano is they type of player that plays on bottom line and can move up but gets scratched. There's a reason he gets benched so much and gets moved around to teams

I think the Canes would be pushing really hard for the 1st to be the 2024 1st, but the package as is isn’t too far off. If it ends up being the 2026 1st, I would imagine that a little extra would need to be added for the Canes.

What analysts? That's not something anyone with inside knowledge of the WIld has been reporting.

The middle 6 winger we're looking for is more of a finisher than Milano. We also wouldn't want the extra year on his contract. We have prospects that need the roster spot.
