The price is nice and the cap space is good but Lazar's numbers look pretty bad, he hits a little but doesn't seem to score or block shots and is bad on faceoffs. He is pretty young is there anything that I am missing?

As a Sens fan when we drafted him he was an exciting prospect. he was rushed to the NHL and could never really find his groove. He plays hard and gives it his all every game so it is possible that he could turn into a decent 3rd line checker but he will most likely never put up points. the move to Pittsburgh would help his development but I dont think that he would really help them at all.

No way the pens are going to give up their top D prospect for a scrub. Not to mention add a pick.

They are considering poulliot a bust so I do not think they would mind getting rid of him.

I do think they could find another center who would be better- but would have to be better than a 4th round pick.

Why would Calgary want another D man? With their top 5 locked for 3 years and Kylington and Andersson, Fox and Healy, Kulak and Witherspoon and now Valimaki where the hell would Pouliot fit?
