If Domi returns he's playing top 6 with Matthews not on the third line

And if you think about it if he put 47 points being mainly on the third line imagine him next to AM a whole season. 65 + points aint out of the question

I wouldn't say it's a massive overpay, there are several 3rd liners getting paid 4-5M, usually Cs and some "premium" middle 6 wingers. Going to have to be comfortable with knowing that his deal will likely not age well or that they are paying that much for a 3rd liner. I have a feeling that Treliving isn't comfortable with that and won't bring him back or he will try to bring him back on a short-term deal (which I'm assuming Domi will pass on).
