PIT can take that cap hit. Not for a guy we didn't think was worth it and hasn't he been playing wing in Van? VAN would need to retain $1m to $1.3m for him to even be a consideration. I don't understand how he's paid so much for his production. We'd have just thrown more money at Bonino.

Value is there to make the deal, but the salary is just to much to take on.

You said exactly what I'd say to him. Very well said.

I think if Canucks retains 1/1.3M of his salary, the trade would be so damn good to us, cause Sutter is a very good two-way center. Great defensive skills and good offensive ones. He scored 17 goals and made 17 assists last season playing for one of the worst offensive teams of the league. This is remarkable!

I edited the trade and retained 1.3 million on Sutter. Thanks for the feedback!

Sutter scored 17 goals last year on VANCOUVER! I don't see how he'd make people around him worse. He's just got a bad rep from playing for the Cunucks.

Are u serious that's your opinion!? Scores 17 goals and 17 assists playing for Canucks is not good enough to you??? And he's not even on 1st PP unit!
