:"Getting rid of Spezza" doesn't seem like good salesmanship. Spezza scores more than Bozak, but he is a better player? That 3.25m additional cap hit to the a Leafs isn't appealing at all.

Seing as how the Maple Leafs are over the cap and have to sign Connor Brown, I don't think that they will entertain any offers that involve them receiving additional salary.

The leafs have 10 million with Lupul and Horton. And Spezza only has 2 years left. Dallas could retain salary. Not the greatest trade though. And yes, "Getting rid of Spezza" isn't a good title.

Yeah Spezza to Toronto isn't happening, All 7 Canadian teams are on Spezza's no trade list he doesn't want to play in Canada.

When did he release a no trade list? In 2014? Before e was traded to Dallas? Also, fun fact, it said back then that he didn't include Toronto or Montreal.

As for the trade, it won't be possible because Toronto doesn't want him, not because Spezza doesn't wanna be in Toronto
