Rangers and Panthers. All in.

Initial Creation Date: Aug. 3, 2017

Description
Rangers don't need Holden, but they're looking for a C. Trade makes sense.

Florida is trying to cut cost and Hossa is only owed $1 million a year for the rest of his contract. So they get an elite talent in DeBrincat and a 1st rounder in 2019.

I like that trade from the Rangers perspective but I don't know if they could make it work cap wise. They only have about 3 mil in space right now so trading Holden for Anisimov would give the Rangers basically no money left over and they still need to fill two more roster spots

Hossa isn't going to play this season and his career is likely over ... Put him on IR, but don't expect any thing for him. DeBrincat is a midget and has never played pro-hockey so that value isn't going to much, and CHI first should be 20th or later unless they have a super crappy year. If that's the best CHI has to offer I don't see anyway they get Torcheck. Other teams would definitely offer more, but why would FLA give him up?

Your DeBrincat assessment alone should get you kicked from this website. You have no idea what you're talking about.

The only fact that you think about trade DeBrincat is an heresy. DeBrincat will be a big piece of the Hawks in the future, he has so much potential! I can't believe some people hasnt realize it yet.

You realize his potential but you also realize Toews and Kane are in their prime, Keith and Seabrook are over 30 with no elite defensive prospects in the system, you can't wait for him to develop. If he isn't ready this season they have to think about moving him to fill a gap in the line up to win now.

Are we supposed to be real NHL GMs and scouts to sign up for this site? You're pretentiousness should get you kicked off ... no, you should just consider making an argument rather than dismissing legit concerns about a player.

"DeBrincat is a midget and has never played pro-hockey so that value isn't going to much ... " Seems pretty accurate though "going to much" should have read "going to be that much," as in enough to be the main piece in in a Torcheck deal. I get that he's talented and tenacious and has done it with and with out McDavid/Strome in the OHL ... but there's a ton of undersides players who were wonderful in the Jr and struggled to play pro, let alone NHL. Projection are not sure things ... Torcheck is.
