What about Gaunce or more importantly Horvat. IMO Markstrom has a better upside than Reimer since he is younger. But if we were to make that trade I would like to see the picks on Florida's side instead of our side.

Lineup is way off

Do not like pro proposed trade of Markstrom for Reimer. Markstrom has way more upside and Canucks would never do this deal.

I would sooner trade Sutter for prospect at next trade deadline similar to Burrows and Hansen.

Man, Canucks fans are as delusional as Jim Benning is. Jacob Markstrom is 27 years old, this right now is about as good as he's going to get. His "potential," has more than likely been reached by now.

Markstrom hasn't been given the opportunity to even be a starter yet so why move him when you don't even know if can be a starter... If he shows that he can't then I'm all for it to trade him otherwise keep him for the time being

On the flip side having a proven backup in Markstrom play as starter only helps this team as it'll help them stay in the basement (although it hasn't worked for them in the past when it comes to the draft lottery)

Their current tandem is just to let Demko develop in the AHL and then begin to compete for an NHL spot
