I could see NYR going for something like that Sedinss trade to be honest. Why not? You either admit that your window is closed and start a rebuild, or you double down and try to get a run or two out of who's left (Lundqvist). Adding both Sedins for a year or two makes sense. Go big on the Swedes.

But Washington already has a third line center. Two of them, at last count, and several more in the farm system. And that's what's burning them, in the playoffs, when they lose against a Penguins team that just plays offensive centers.
